We meet for worship Sunday mornings at 10 a.m.
Worship is an opportunity to quiet ourselves and to know that God is God. It’s a time to give thanks and praise to the One who creates life, redeems suffering, and sustains our spirits for the living of these days.
On Monday mornings at 10 AM, a group of adults gathers for “Provocations,” a chance to study and discuss material of our common choosing. Sometimes a lectionary-based Bible study, sometimes a book group, sometimes a discussion of social trends or current events, sometimes a course making use of outside curricula, this is to nurture our common and uncommon faith. We generally adjourn around 11:30 or noon.
Groups and individuals in our congregation also engage in other ministries as they feel called, such as collecting winter coats, contributing food for local food pantries, collecting can pull tabs to help with transportation costs of families with hospitalized children, and knitting prayer shawls for women at the Elizabeth Freeman Center in Pittsfield. Others are welcome to join in any of these ministries.
